shrimp and leek dumplings <-- specialty
dry dice chicken (dice or wing) <-- specialty

there is a reason why the wait is typically an hour...it is hyped up, but still doesn't disappoint. arrive b4 5:30 if you don't want to wait in line.

Everyone should go try this. San Tung's dried fried chicken is arguably the best wings you'll ever have. Rich, forget the mongo beef. You should try San Tung!

so i went and tried this place out last night and the dry fried chicken was out of this world! i ordered the dry fried (diced) and this chick from the gym ordered the kung pao, but when the food came we both went to war with the dry fried plate and i had to finish off the kung pao. the kung pao was pretty weak, but we'd both go back in a heartbeat just for the dry fried chicken. sooooo FUCKING good!

Wow, I used to live at 14th & Irving and NEVER went to this place because it was so full all the time.

There used to be a place called Beijing on Irving right across the street (it's some crap place now) that hard by unanimous decision by everyone who ever went there that i know to have the best general's chicken. Their szechuan beef was very different than any other place I ever had and it was bomb. Too bad the place was sold and the new owners changed it all up year back.

Not really SF and a little late - but Chef Chu's in Palo Alto is good. So is House of Chu - but they can be a huge hit or miss - located in San Jose

It's pretty ridiculous how crowded it gets there, even during off-hours. That's why whenever I'm in the area I often stop by San Tung for a to-go order of the dried chicken wings.

If you want duck... buy a whole one from a butcher/restaurant in Chinatown. God those are sooo much better than the ones you buy at Ranch 99 in irvine :[
