So I'd generally agree with you Dave, but with only six days to put together and promote an event nobody has ever heard of (without paper flyers), it makes sense to advertise the dancers. It's about turning out people and at least allowing the venue to break even, so if adding them to the flyer will encourage some of their 200+ FB friends to come, I think it's a good idea.
If we'd had a week or two more to put this together, there would have been other ways to make up the numbers without clouding the flyer. I'm all about the music and DJs, but we need a crowd show up to the event.
Just to be clear, I'm not arguing with you -- I just think things are a little different when you've got practically no time at all to promote. I wish you could be up here to check this out tonight; it's looking to be a great night.
I removed my post cause what I said was coming out wrong and very negative. I'm on little sleep right now and grouchy...why I deleted it. Rather do that and watch what I say than cause a lot of issues.
You took it well though. Makes me wonder which version of my post you read, because there were about five different ones haha.

Haha... it's all good dude. I don't think I've had more than 5 hours each night this week myself. Gonna power through and bring it tonight though.
