If oliver sucked id be the first to say it. He doesnt always play what i like either but thats because he caters to the crowd. So apparently he was playing older and a bit more commercial. Did you see the theme of the night? If so he was right on target.

I could say that Guetta sucked but he didnt. He just didnt play the style of music that i like. But the guy knew his crowd and hammered it right on. For that i say hes good at what he does and is a good dj. And having met the guy in a non club setting, hes a pretty decent dude too.

Mark wasn't doing a solo night, he was warming up the crowd, as a starter, he did his job.

Regardless of whether he helped build the scene or not, MO is extremely hit and miss, and has been since I entered the scene back in 2004. Of the few dozen times I've heard him spin, I've only truly enjoyed 3 or 4 of his sets.

Eventually the z103 mixes and cheese he spins starts to take it's toll on people looking for a good night.

Having worked with mark literally hundreds of times i can tell you that the "z 103" stuff only gets played when the crowd is hurting and needs that cheese factor. The nights that the crowd is solid and educated are the bang on nights where its pure house and techno bliss and those are the nights i love.

Do i always like everything oliver plays? No way. But does he suck? Certainly not.
