Point taken, but it was very unnecessary to say "you're lucky to be able to play in a club", I find that to be rather insulting to your character and your talent. Just because your set wasn't that amazing doesn't mean you haven't made plenty of awesome ones in the past, and he needs to realize that. He probably listens to Tiesto anyways.

Clearly you don't get it. Lady Gaga is probably more up your alley.

I think this is a very good set with some nice tracks and your mixing was, for most of the set, done very well. I think the Halkidiki transition that you'd mentioned was the biggest issue, as it was just too long IMO. The changes in direction I like, and occasionally try to employ in my own sets as you may have noticed.

Maybe it's just me, but I think there were too many lulls or "low energy, dead air" spots in the set overall. The energy in tracks like Synesthetic - Down To Earth are nice, but the lulls are hard for me to deal with. Why is it that nearly all trance producers do this...put dead air in the middle of tracks I mean? I'm really digging Motion Drive - Complete Access, nice tune (minus the lulls).

Overall, it's a set worth grabbing and one I'll be keeping. Thanks mate.

Cheers,

THC

Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah you are right, I did keep it for long but I wanted to add that atmospheric feel from the track into the mix while mixing. It didnt happen as I wanted to but still it was ok to pass. And yes, I noticed the tempo changes in your sets and I also love that.

The "dead air" is inevitable I think and its not necessarily a bad thing imo. Sometimes a break from the beat is nice and also it has a beautiful atmosphere and melodies in it. But when it gets too long it starts to annoys. I think in this set there aren't long breaks, maybe only the Down to Earth track. But well, sometimes it just sounds nice!

Cheers!

Enjoy!

Its a bit insulting yes, but coming from a dutch unknown internet dude who is trying to be "cool", it doesnt disturbs me. He wanted to say that he didnt like the set, ok, and thats it, no need for anymore discussions.

Finally got around to listening to this, and enjoyed it.

Without echoing the comments already here, this isn't what I would call an amazing mix, but the flow and mixing lends itself to a good background music (not in the dismissive way, if you know what I mean?), like for studying, housework, or just chilling in the sun.

Weirdly, my favourite tracks were the first and last ones, though not overly keen on the vocals in the last track.

Nice one dude, you certainly never disappoint
