It depends on how many gigabytes you want to transfer, and the distance. For example, if you want to transfer 16 gigabytes to someone in your neighbourhood, I'm sure the pigeon could do a better job. Unless, of course, the number of dogs and pranksters in your block is too high

And if I get in my car and drive a loaded 1 TB harddrive to my buddy's house 20 minutes away, it is faster than over the internet. Therefore, my car is faster than southern California's internet.
