My local MP is a very active member of Right to Life and completely opposes same sex anything.

I could never ever put my vote behind someone like that. His office called the other day to see if they could count on our support if there was an election... I was very happy to provide them with a very big NO.

God forbid the Conservatives ever got a majority and the abortion debate was reopened. I do not lose sleep over much but if I played any part in the right to choose being taken away - I don't even know what I would do.

My vote will go to Iggy.

I really, really, really hope we don't have an election though. I am good with the $200 million price tag finding a better use.

True colours? check! fires staff who provided $400k grant to Toronto Pride...a weeklong event that brings hundreds of millions of dollars into the economy and subsequently denies any funding to Montreal's event. gotta appease the right-wing homo haters among the party faithful, I suppose.

Hypocrisy? check! the CPC has the GALL to run a commercial this week saying that an election now is a *waste of money*. ARE YOU FUCKING SHITTING ME??? Ignatieff forcing an election would be for the possibility of a change of gov't, while Harper's last election was nothing more than $200 million roll of the dice for him to score a majority.

Lies? check! the same commercial claims that Ignatieff supports a coalition, despite his repeated public statements he will not consider.

come on dude, that's weak. to summarize it the way you just did is a gross oversimplification. Not voting will change nothing...that is a fact. I can't stand people who will not spend the 10-20 minutes it takes to go vote. If you are not going to vote then get out of the country. This is your chance to voice your opinion. In the last election I went and advised them I would not be voting as none of the candidates deserved my vote. I still did my civil duty.

I have voted in every election since I turned 18 and what has changed? NOTHING!!! The last election I voted for some Croatian guy running as an independent.
