My short review of Howells last night.
I fully enjoyed the night. He dropped some excellent tracks, and I was fistpumping and grooving all night.  I got there about 11ish, hung out a bit to check out the crowd, and talk with a couple of people. Anyone know who was spinning before Howells? He was pretty good. When I got there, there was a fair size crowd (~75-85) and about 75% of them lounging in the seats or hanging around at the bar. Howells came up a bit after midnight, and that's when everyone started to move to the "small" dance floor. I say around 12:30 or so, there were about ~120-130 people in attendance. He spun for about 2 1/2 hours, getting the crowd going.
Pluses
- A fairly decent crowd showed up for Howells, seeing that ACL is this weekend, and I thought people wanted to save their money for the festival over Howells
- the crowd. surprisingly, a limited about of douches around.
Minuses
- the sound system. they will never change it.
- the limit dance floor. they will never change it.
overall, good night.
