well... it is fully possible for oz having 100mbit server... but then again... if we change the bitrate to 192 kbps about NO-ONE will be able to listen to our radio without lagg... and that is kinda booring :/ 128 kbps should do fine... if u want the song i am playing, just goto EFnet and msg me, i might send it... every single song i am playing i got on my HDD/FTP... peace..

-we thought about making like one stream with 56 kbps and the one standing with 128 kbps, but never thought off it with 192 kbps... 128 should do, enjoy it

could also need more listeners too... so pls advert it too your friends, (not getting enuff listeners leeds to no will to be playing "all night long" got 4 listeners now! fucking poor, got like 26 before the weekend...

but can you tell people with which connection can listen continously to 128 kbps (People with 128 kbps can't) , and get lags with 192 kbps ?
No problem for People with Cable/DSL >= 256 kbps...

Would be cool if you could set up some 192 kbps streams, just for testing
Then I would also find a lot of people listening to your radio.

Alone the possibility to (automatically) save the streams to full quality mp3s with streamripper (http://streamripper.sourceforge.net/index.php) ,
should get many people interested !

( Or do you fear copyright problems, THE reason why commercial sites never offer any free streaming contents in full quality )

i dunno about what connection u need to listen without lagg to 128 kbps ... but i am assuming it will go smooth with CABLE/DSL

And yea i know about the streamripper, it is great

I am not the person running the server so i would hafto talk to my m8's running the server and all, but it would be easier if we could talk on mIRC... i assume u have it. Goto #TranceAddictZ @ EFnet ..

At certan times i play allot of 0day (as now), and it is a great way to grab it without looking + downloading it, just listen ;]
