Well windows released a demo of XP, it lasts fro 6 months. After that you have to reformat your hard drive. That is why i have windows xp proffesional
They should have warned you about the demo.
Oh hang on, after so many months as a security measure XP asks to change yr password, for security. So you should have changed it. Mine is blank, so i have no password. Im not sure how you would change it now.

Ahh if you r setup as admin on yr account and have full access you can prob change the password for him, go to start, click on the picture next to you login name
The user account window will open
Click back twice till it shows u all users (pick a task in big letters) , click on change an account , then on your dads account, then change or create a password.
Then from now on make sure you change the password when it asks.
Hope that works

get into an account with admin rights...
if u cant, try loggin in using the username administrator and a blank password.
go into administrative tools (in xp i think it defaults into ur control panel)
once in admin tools, click on COMPUTER MANAGEMENT...
in the left panel, click on 'local users and groups' ... then click 'users'
in the right frame highlight and right click the name of the expired account and click PROPERTIES.
************check off 'PASSWORD NEVER EXPIRES'*********
also make sure that 'ACCOUNT IS DISABLED' is UNCHECKED..
then apply! that should do it.

Yeah i realised, but i forgot about admin options. Coz they arent on normal windows, but as xp is basically NT, i can start using them now.
I didnt have any extra accounts before to play around with

If u have any previous versions uninstall them
Try reinstalling a newer version than what u have (Office XP works best)
Try a patch
