<3 gearsluts. My audio production teacher, now deceased (from murder wtf) recommended that site to me about 4 years go.

Great, great resource.

Had a play with Nord Rack 2x for the first time recently, not bad but I prefer my Virus B. Blofeld sounds nice based on demos, though I haven't used one personally. My only concern with it would be it may not be very hands on to program, you seem to need to cycle through menus which change the functions of the pots. Obviously this happens with most synths but not as much as much as it seems to with the Blofeld.

So after that ramble, I'd try to find a shop which has one you can road test.

I still want an Andromeda.......

Well, if what i said is true, then it'll be a Waldorf Micro Q w/ the extra XT wavetables. So it'll sound less digital than an XT. That's one of the areas the XT really wins, though.. is its digital fucked-upness.

But another thing I noticed about the Blofeld when I had one was that the interface was very buggy. They've probably fixed that by now, but even without the bugs, it was still not much fun to work with such a tiny device and have no software to back it up.
