Dancefloor was cleared because his Serato wouldn't work... didn't have any backup plan and he was more interested in dancing than mixing.
I am kinda sick of showing up for gigs where people plan on being a digital dj and then their system fails. 4 of the last 7 events I have been to have been "saved" by someone having vinyl to put on or a mix cd to prevent silence. Get there early to test it out people.

that was part of the problem, but i think totally stopping Giannas set at 125bpm and restarting with some soul record at 80bpm pretty much killed any energy in the place...2 or so tracks later his computer crashed.

To be fair, Serato is a piece of shit. In any case, I doubt his set wouldn't have been without "technical difficulties" even if his computer didn't crash
