Just watched the final episode, and I must say I think he's brilliant.

Unlike Sasha Cohen, who's just outrageous and just a comedian, the thing I like about Safran is that, even though some of his pranks are wee bit over the top, his social criticism is more elaborated, as he freely speaks his mind. Both this series and his previous one on religion explore issues that I find particularly interesting, and I think he did a great job exposing the complexity behind these problems.

Unlike "John Safran vs God", in which his conclusion was really open-ended (so it wasn't really at all conclusive), I think he could have elaborated far more his "post-ethnic" identity, though I think he did a good job trying to bring both worlds together in the ending (even if I think he should've gone further than that).

He actually inspired me to do some work of my own, and even bought a camera... I just need to fight my usual procrastination and see what I can come up with
