Really liking this first one. Two of my favorite releases of the past few years on there, so had to be good!

sounded great in terms of tracks. only concern is the key clashes. the beatmatching/eq was great, but some of the mixes were off-key and sounded weird. that being said, the mix into Roxy '84 was a perfect keymatch and worked really well.

on to Tartaruga Lounge!

really nice!

tartaruga lounge had some nice nu-disco stuff and a couple tracks i didnt know about.

wasnt feeling lua beach club much, too techy for me but i did really enjoy the last 3 tracks.

the best tho, was departure. awesome atmospheric deep house that fit really well with my zoned out mood atm.
at first i was thinking...hmm wish this set was a bit longer, but by the time the really nice UNKLE tune finished, I was pleased with the smooth landing.

Wow, thanks for taking the time to listen all four mixes and especially for giving constructive feedback! You're right about the key clashes and programming in Arrival - I had three mixes done and there were still shitloads of tracks that I wanted to introduce here, so Arrival is a left over mix and some of the tunes like We Love Machine gives real headache what comes to mixing The flow is definately not the best here and I was thinking whether I should publish it or not, but as said, the tracks were too damn good the left outside I tried to put tracks like Mimosa - End Of Me and
Badly Drawn Boy - Promises (Beyond The Wizard's Sleeve Re-Animation) here as well but with those the flow would have been even worse!

What comes to that techy stuff, I like it but in small portions - I tried to mix the "loop tracks" in the second quarter as fast as I could and introduce different kinds of tech house/techno/whatever here. First more atmospheric stuff (f.e. Shadows), then pumping tech house (f.e. Burn Myself), then oldskool-sounding house (f.e. Shine On), then minimal (Calypso) and finish with "raw" sounding melodic stuff (like that Jori Hulkkonen track), if that makes any sense

Departure has had the best reactions in the finnish boards and I'm most pleased with the result as well. Talking about finns, the new Jori Hulkkonen album is absolutely brilliant!

Cheers And thanks to everybody who has listened and commented on these, I think the next mix will be more dancefloor orientated because I'll be moving to Bologna (Italy) next February and need a promotional mix to hand out to promoters over there
