3. Pull any amplified music permits the city AND county AND state you are in require

4. Check with the fire marshal.. pay him to come out and walk your venue.

5. Invite the mayor in to your project - get a letter of approval if you can.

6. Provide licensed and bonded security.

7. Zero tolerance for drinking + drugs


The basic steps to turn a warehouse party into something legal. Then of course it's not really a warehouse party. Generally speaking people that throw "illegal" parties do not get involved in real production

I think your much better off at a private residence. I'm looking to throw a big one and I have a big house to use on 1.5 acres for new years.

Yes, on a large plot of privately owned land is the best way to do it these days.

we have warehouse style EVENTS all the time in dallas. got one coming up in a couple weeks in a fuckin siloh.

promote your party as an event...not even a party, def not a rave. LOL have the correct permits, and make sure if its an all ages show, or 18+ that those patrons are clearly marked. also, see if you can find an off duty police officer to work at the door outside. cops dont mess w/ their own, for the most part.
