16 Bit Lolitas and Jaytech are something from Anjuna I like too so that's not a bad thing. And Anjunadeep is far better than Anjunabeats.

Tracklist looks interesting. I'm definately going to check this one.

Anjunadeep is nothing special, except for the fact that they are not Anjunabeats. Jaytech and 16 Bit Lolita's are their only decent artists, in my opinion.

Anyways, gave this a listen (even if you are a jerk and haven't given mine a listen, even with the Blue Amazon!) and, as you said, this was nothing fancy. But that doesn't mean it wasn't enjoyable. Very solid mix, with a nice progression from start to finish.

Another good mix, good job.

Thanks. I'll forgive you emotionally blackmailing everyone in my thread.

I've looked at your mix, but I've got a big stack of them to listen to currently, including a whole bunch of classic Essential Mixes. I'm already quite familiar with most of the tracks you used, so it wasn't an immediate download for me. I will give it a listen, though.

Once again sterling work, really enjoyed it. some really good tracks on here, as almost always with your mixes some new artists and labels to start stalking.

top stuff

Great stuff! Just the kind of music I enjoy. I know that I can expect wonderful stuff from you but this was even better than I expected. Great track after another and this one kept me interested for the whole time.

Great job!

Jack, this mix is absolutely fantastic. I'm working on my second listen-through now.

Reminds me of what got me hooked into EDM in the first place.

My buddy just pointed this out though. The track you have playing at around 30 minutes is damn hear identical to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O51s4g2peYk . Interesting!

Keep posting sets, they all get an automatic download from me.

Ha. I don't know about identical, but it's pretty damn similar. The track in question is DJ Shinobi's remix of Bounce, by the way. It's been a long time since I played Out There And Back so I didn't hear the resemblence.

Also: thanks everyone for the praise. As I've said, there's nothing clever about this mix, but it really hit the spot when I was putting it together. Almost every track seemed to flow effortlessly. I'm glad others agree.

Yeah, the flow in this set was definitely the high point for me, nice and smooth. Nothing too fancy or eye-catching, but it's a great mix nontheless. Bangin all the way but you managed to have a nice variety and dynamic going on, which is great as people usually approach a set like this and just throw down earbleeding anthem after anthem.

Nice work as usual, brutha.

I'm so fucking pissed off. I downloaded this and burnt it to a CD for the car. I was getting really into it and it stopped at the 20 minute mark - something interfered with the download. Will grab it properly today.

I downloaded this the other day and have already listened to it like 4 times all the way through... enjoyed it a whole ton (though your most recent prog breaks one is still my favorite )!

The mixing was some of your most seamless yet, I especially like they way "Cyan"'s main riff drops as you're mixing from "Set Me Free". The music in the mix is fantastic, a lot of the songs were unfamiliar to me, which is always pleasurable since I love to discover new music. It started off very electro-proggy, before mixing in some of the deeper progressive melodies of time past. I think I would have preferred the flow to start off with the deeper and more haunting second half, before going all out - Cyan seems to me like the biggest anthem of the set, but it's in the middle.

Yeah, that was a deliberate decision. Cyan was a natural high point and there was no way I could have maintained that high point, so I deliberately dropped off, changed direction and went for a darker, faster and harder vibe for the second half. When I mixed out of Cyan I left a few bars of bare percussion as though to say "That's that part over" before building up in a different direction.

Personally I think it works quite well. The obvious way to programme a set is to build up from deep to melodic and peak with your biggest anthem. I've done it with most of my other mixes, so this one sounds a bit different and hopefully fresh as a result.

Anyway, thanks a lot for listening and for the feedback.
