Im probably going to the alps as usual, but i need new gear ASAP, i broke the board last season lol. Any recomandations? I dont drive park alot but it was actually in the park i broke the tail on my snowboard. It was brand new Rome Design board which wasnt meant for parks obviously. Also im tall and heavy, and i drive fucking hard and fast so i need something that can handle pressure. I loved the Rome board because of the carving and speed, but it never felt solid. I borrowed a Ride park-board (pink and gay) after i broke the other one and that seemed to handle everything but the carving and direction was terrible. So something in between those two maybe. I ride off-piste, mountain, big jumps, speed and everything. i dont care about spin and rotation as i suck at that but i want twin-tip as i drive both ways. |
Its all about foot size... width of board. If you are tall and heavy a wider board is great for freestyle mountain riding. I have always looked for a wider board, I am not that tall, but a little bit heavy, the wider board I like cause I can get nice deep carves with more board in contact with snow.
