being that im vegitarian (not authentic bc i eat seafood & cheese but i don't drink milk & eat the other meats) whenever i take a B12 i seriously feel a change in my mood.. im freaking buying the bottle tomorrow at walgreens.

I take a woman's multivitamin, B12, and potassium every day. In the winter, I take vitamin D and E, and when I am getting sick I take Echinacea and vitamin C.

Water poisoning! I drank over two gallons of water. Was really thirsty...

yea im cutting out red meat these days and doing more seafood so that's good. i also take fish oil pills every day with the B12. those are the only 2 supplements i take. and back to the stomach probs....i burp up a nasty fish taste when i take the fish oils ughh.


i envy people with strong stomachs. fuckin sucks having to take zantac all the time

like jenny has mentioned before (and it's pretty much common knowledge among people who are generally educated about health and drugs, etc...), potassium is not something you want to mess with. you should only be taking potassium pills if you have a deficiency or if your doctor tells you too. eating a banana once a day should be sufficient.

If I take a whole multivitamin, my piss goes orange, so I know they are a complete waste of time like this. Instead, I split them in thirds or quarters and take one tablet throughout the day.

multivitamins make me sick to my stomach. someone mentioned (i think chimera) that it pretty much means i'm getting enough vitamins already through my diet. i guess it makes sense. i DO eat tons of veggies and salad and fruit so i'm definitely getting enough nutrients through my diet and don't need a multi.

i'm going to start taking calcium though because i don't drink enough milk and i'm a skinny white girl (we're the most prone to osteoporosis when we're old), so i figure the sooner i start taking calcium supps, the better.
