I agree with you. Cruises are just a waste of time and a waste of money. It's a way for people to travel who don't really like proper travel!

Not really. I did a cruise in the Yasawas (a chain of islands just of the main island of Fiji) a few years ago and it was brilliant. The boat moves at night so that every morning when you wake up you're at a different location.

If, however, you are talking about international cruises like you might do on a large P&O liner like the Queen Mary or Queen Elizabeth, then yes, I agree.
