What do you mean by "analog feel?" Pitch instability? Strong bass frequencies? Lack of harshness in highs? Smooth and good sounding filtering?

Ring mod doesn't give you any of those things, IMO.

Yea, I read all my synth manuals. They helped a ton during the beginning. I feel like I'm at a point where I know quite a bit but am having a hard time executing it. I do need to read that book you suggested that isn't first time i've seen that recommended. And as for the tremolo, I did not know what you explained. So thank you for the heads up.
