i wouldn't reccomend the 7506 for casual listening (and i own a pair). too flat, no fun. for production/dj they can't be beat.

i'd go for something like beyer dynamic 770

I appreciate everyones suggestions. I'm looking for something that has an incredible sound quality for under $300 that wouldn't be too heavy to walk around town in. I'm definitely looking for something near DJ quality. I don't care what I look like with them on as long as they're comfortable. I looked at the Sony headset and am wondering if I could do signifigantly better with extra money.

I think the Sony 7506 can be pretty comfortable, specially since the go around the ear and not over it, so you don't feel like your ears are being squished. You might also want to look at the Sennheiser HD25-II, since I hear that they are very comfortable and light but I have not tried them myself. They are almost double the price, though.

They are very comfortable, I agree.

I use them for production (Yeah I suck but I still try), Listening to music, and mixing and have not been disappointed in any aspect.
