Also, the lowercase rule goes for "de" as well, eg, Vincent de Moor, Benno de Goeij. Not that you necessarily wanted to know.

van vs. Van is an easy question, it's van. (lowercase)

The REAL tricky one is del vs. Del.

Del is de and el combined in spanish, de and el both being lowercase.
Therefore you would think del would be lowercase as well.

But Energy 52 - Cafe Del Mar is capitalized on Discogs and other sources....

so which one is the proper way?
