If anything he would probably want Ventura to hit him so there will be a big story/publicity about it and to prove that he actually got Ventura mad.

My point goes to Ventura, for being able to hold back from hitting him square in the face. That guy was seriously asking for it. It would've also looked really bad if Venture hit him
