its a decent list, however i felt that paul ritch, paco osuna, speedy j should've been higher up in the ranks

I don't think there really is a solution.
perhaps have the rankings broken down by genre? or maybe have a group of select peers who submit their choices (excluding themselves)...
agreed. genre lists compiled from a single source would be interesting to see.
interestingly enough, I'd guess that people whose taste jives more with this RA list *do* at least know most of the top DJs on the DJ Mag list and have probably even heard them play somewhere...but I bet the converse is not true.
flash forward a few years. will tech-house, minimal, etc. run through the mainstream the way trance has in recent times and will the RA list entries thus be challenging for DJ Mag's top spots? or will something else be the next big mainstream genre...?

guys, there will NEVER be a list that you will completely agree with so just give it up.
and honestly... who gives a shit about these lists anyway? no published list will ever affect my own personal list.

Give what up? Its a discussion board and people are discussing what they think of the poll

it might be a discussion board but all i ever see around here are people complaining how this/that is not right. i know most people will agree with me on this. all people do around here for the past few years is bitch and complain about everything. give THAT up.

What, like the bitching and complaining about how this/that is not right that you're doing right now?
I don't agree with you. By disagreeing, people are simply expressing their own tastes in a alternate manner; you can't deal, too bad. And trying to gather consensus by saying you somehow "know" people will agree with you is really childish.
List is alright, definitely some solid talent on it, though in my version Magda wouldn't be on it at all, and Michelle Herrmann would. No love for Ben Sims or DJ Bone, either.
