Where did you get the notion that things are better in Japan???
http://business.timesonline.co.uk/t...icle6928794.ece
"With the country’s ratio of gross debt to GDP hovering above 170 per cent, Japan’s debt position is already viewed by some as the most fragile of all leading economies. A glut of new debt — possibly pushing that ratio to nearly 200 per cent — is likely to play into fears in some quarters of the market that Japan is rumbling towards fiscal implosion. "

And how are things better in Russia? It ranks 52nd in the world as far as per capita goes. So it's not only much colder there, but you're also earning on average a lot less money.
Side note about Russia, according to a recent survey conducted there, 54 percent of those polled believe Stalin was a good leader...Keep in mind this is the same Stalin who was responsible for killing millions of his own people prior to World War II, then sided with Hitler when the war started.

To add to the above:
Japan's GDP declines in excess of 15% for a few quarters in a row. Moreover, Japan has public debt well in excess of US public debt. Russia's GDP decline this year has been in excess of 10% year-over-year for most of the year. Further, russia doesn't have a very diversified economy. It is heavily reliant on natural resources. This doesn't lend itself well to extended future growth. It needs to diversify its economy to ensure a stable reliable growth rate in the future.
By comparison, the US decline in GDP was less 7% at all times during the recession. On top of that, the US has by far the most diversified economy in the world, with the most fluid job market in the world. And, contrary to the misconception among internet idiots, the US manufacturers more than any other country (by far), including china, germany, and japan. Unlike low-cost manufacturing countries such as china, however, the US has a booming service economy and the most advanced research sector in the world. While we have our fair share of problems, we are much better situated than any other country.
The level of ineptitude amongst people on this board used to astonish me, but then i realized most of you are idiots.

You talk about ineptitude then you come here and insult us? Why don't you go FUCK yourself then. Stop being a fucking fanboy to your country and show some respect to the people on these boards.
You know what's astonishing, is fucking losers like you who still have an account on these forums and continue bashing people for making for making an opinion.
As long as I am concerned, its your fucking "Mr know it all attitude" that makes you an idiot and generates a lot of hostility on these forums.

Lmao. The guy proves a point and you tell him to go fuck himself. Where is your proof that Japan and Russia are better off than the United States? Instead of calling him a "fucking fanboy", why don't you provide us with facts instead of digging yourself a bigger hole of ineptitude?
