ok, I know there's a TV thread, but I need an opinion.
I'm in NS and gonna do my boxing day shopping online. The only item on my list is a flat screen TV - about 40-42". I'm looking at this package as I also really want some new speakers, and my DVD player is on its last legs.

I dont use it for gaming, HD - just straight up TV and DVD watching.

I want to get a decent pair of earbuds...i know quality is lost for the most part on ear buds, but i'd like to get a pair with good sound for once. Anyone have any recommendations??

These are the ones i found but since i literally know nothing about sound beyond brand names and reputation, i wouldn't mind some help.

I know exactly what I want to purchase tomorrow which makes things smoother.. since I'm working until 3 pm. Gonna pick up the red version of my blue, plaid, cloth converse shoes I have (wore them on wednesday) and a shirt for my friend's wedding. Might pick up a few accessories if I can gnaw through the crowd of ugly people.

I own a pair of Shure e2cs earbuds and they are fantastical. fucking great pair of earbuds... brilliant sound clarity and bass response... and they are the bottom of the line shure models too.

Go with shure and ull be happy mate.
