- £100 is still £100.
- Not when the price is £200 its not, and certainly not when you've got Liberia's deficit in your skyrocket. Tighter than a ducks but you are. Now let me feel the fibre of your fabric........Jesus Christ! You could choke a dozen donkeys on that, and you're haggling over one hundred pounds? What do you do when you're not buying stereos, Nick? Financing revolutions?
(Lock, Stock..)

"In the quiet words of the Virgin Mary...... come again?"
(Snatch)

There's too many brilliant quotes from these two!

one from swordfish:

Gabriel: You know what the problem with Hollywood is? They make shit. Unbelievable, unremarkable shit. Now I'm not some grungy wannabe filmmaker that's searching for existentialism through a haze of bong smoke or something. No, it's easy to pick apart bad acting, short-sighted directing, and a purely moronic stringing together of words that many of the studios term as "prose". No, I'm talking about the lack of realism. Realism; not a pervasive element in today's modern American cinematic vision. Take Dog Day Afternoon, for example. Arguably Pacino's best work, short of Scarface and Godfather Part 1, of course. Masterpiece of directing, easily Lumet's best. The cinematography, the acting, the screenplay, all top-notch. But... they didn't push the envelope. Now what if in Dog Day, Sonny REALLY wanted to get away with it? What if -- now here's the tricky part -- what if he started killing hostages right away? No mercy, no quarter. "Meet our demands or the pretty blonde in the bellbottoms gets it the back of the head." Bam, splat! What, still no bus? Come on! How many innocent victims splattered across a window would it take to have the city reverse its policy on hostage situations? And this is 1976; there's no CNN, there's no CNBC, there's no internet! Now fast forward to today, present time, same situation. How quickly would the modern media make a frenzy over this? In a matter of hours, it'd be biggest story from Boston to Budapest! Ten hostages die, twenty, thirty; bam bam, right after another, all caught in high-def, computer-enhanced, color corrected. You can practically taste the brain matter. All for what? A bus, a plane? A couple of million dollars that's federally insured? I don't think so. Just a thought. I mean, it's not within the realm of conventional cinema... but what if?

its a bit long...

"...There's a passage I got memorized. Ezekiel 25:17: The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he who, in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of the darkness. For he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know I am the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon you."

Pulp Fiction

tosk_hysj just beat me to the punch with my favorite quote. I like the whole scene but that is the best part. Other than that quote I like "You have smoked yourself retarded" from Half Baked.

"no money cant get pissed
got money drinking too much
cant get a bird, no chance of a ride
got a bird, too much hassle
you have to worry about bills
about food, some fucking football team that never wins,
about human relationships and all the things
that really dont fucking matter when
youve got a truthfull and sincere junk habit"

*Begbie throws a glass over the balcony in the pub and a girl screams*

(Begbie) right ok that girl got glassed and no **** leaves her till we find out what **** did it!
(guy with the girl) who the fuck are you?!
(Begbie) yessssssssssssssss

good one dude. how about from Dogma:

Jay: If you know so much, tell me something about myself.
Rufus: You masturbate more than anyone else on the planet.
Jay: Shit, everyone knows that. Tell me something else.
Rufus: When you do it, you're thinking about guys.
Silent Bob starts to look freaked out.]
Jay: [to Bob] Dude, not ALL the time!

Bethany: What exactly brought you to Illinois?
Jay: See, all these movies take place in a small town called Shermer, in Illinois, where all the honies are top-shelf, but all the dudes are whiny pussies--except for Judd Nelson, he was fuckin' harsh--but best of all, there was no one dealin', man; then, it hits me: we could live like phat rats if we were the blunt connection in Shermer, Illinois. So we collected some money we were owed, and we caught a bus. You know what the fuck we found out when we got there? There is no Shermer in Illinois! Movies are fuckin' bullshit.

Rufus: You know what the dead do with most of their time? They watch the living. Especially in the shower.
Jay: I can't wait to die.

i love that movie

More Dogma Quotes

-Jay: I feel like I'm Han Solo, and you're Chewie, and she's Ben Kenobi, and we're in that fucked-up bar.

-Loki: I love fucking with the clergy.

-Bethany: Then - I don't mean to sound ungrateful - but what are you doing hanging around? Jay: We're here to pick up chicks. Bethany: Excuse me? Jay: We figure an abortion clinic is a good place to meet loose women. Why else would they be there unless they like to fuck?

-Bartleby: Our last two days on Earth. If I had a dick I'd go get laid.
Loki: Well, let's do the next best thing.
Bartleby: What's that?
Loki: Let's kill people.

-Loki: and this authority figure stand above you shaking a finger and says do it, do it and I'll fucking spank you (forget exactly how this one goes)
