Yeah, just recycle them. I had about 10 sitting around last year, and no place would take them, even as a donation.

If they work, throw them on Craigslist for $10-20 each. Someone always needs one, you don't have to pay, you don't pollute the atmosphere, and they pick it up.

If they don't sell cheap on Craigslist reduce the price to zero. There's a "free" section too.

They gotta be useful to someone, an LCD is still over $100.

I got two 19" tubes sitting on the floor collecting dust, very sad

A few years ago my parents took a few monitors we had laying around to a women's half-way house that we donate too. Look in the phonebook and call local shelters/half-way houses to see if they need them. Craigslist is a good idea too.
