Wouldn't that be ironic... over-dosing on Daddy's sleeping pills.

I bet it wasn't even that glamorous (if that's what you'd call it) of a death. Article says she was a diabetic. She prolly just forgot to take her insulin in a coked out, lesbian-sex and dildo fueled rage, and went into diabetic coma.

LOL

Read a non-fiction book. Read something besides the horoscope or entertainment section of the newspaper paper--go educate yourselves--and stop living such sheltered lives. Five million (and growing) children, under the age of five, die yearly in continental Africa. That's over 50% of the overall global death amongst children under five. With the other 50% dominated by South Asia.

A celebrity dying of drug-overdose should phase you as much as a mosquito dying.

A trend of young celebrities dying--heh--I wish all these mother******s would die. But do not panic! Because a thousand more will pop up in their place ready and willing to get you all caught-up-and-lost in a daze of meaningless bullshit on which your lives so heavily depend on.

I knew who she was

and for all the people shitting their panties, I SAID in my original post that I didnt care PER SE (about her celeb status or how she died), but am kind of baffled by the number of young people dying as of late.

I should have also included that I have know TWO young people who are non-celebs that have also passed in my own life this year, and its just a weird coincidence/horrible reality that a long life is never guaranteed. THAT is the reason for my news-sharing. nothing more, nothing less.

LOL no shit, I have read a hundred books on Africa, and I contribute yearly to a fund for childrens aid in Darfur. I also have participated in about 5 charites in this past year ALONE. You tell us to read, but have you ASKED what I read and what I DO ABOUT IT, instead of ranting/assuming about how we "must educate ourselves on less fortunate places (ie: africa), and read a non-fiction book?" NO SHIT people are dying in africa, what the f*ck does that have to do with my concern over young people and their habits (which is clearly a growing problem in and of itself??)

I am a freakin social worker for gods sake, all i DO is educate myself about the less-foruntate in my own country and around the world.....I have THREE degrees in the subject. AND I dedicate my daily life to helping people who are less fortunate. So dont go telling people to "read", because I have done more hands-on work to help people in the last DAY than most have in their entire lives. I just happened to read the ticker-tape at the bottom of the news station. God forbid I make a post about young people dying and how strange it is to be reminded that life can be so short.

now, Casey Johnson (heiress from Johnson & Johnson, as well as Tila Tequila's fiance).....only 30 years old! Not really saddened per se, but it just shocks me at the number of young people dying lately!

Lately? Young people have always been dying.
