The TI has updated converters so I suppose it will sound a bit different than the older models

Right, I'm thinking that pretty much ALL the difference is in the converters...

I'll add that when I used to write music with my former production partner Jay, he had a Virus C and I had the Ti. Everytime he would fire up his C and start going through sounds I would really be envious and think to myself, damn my Ti doesn't sounds like that. It seemed to me anyways, that every sound coming out of his C was so thick and juicy, beyond the phatness of my Ti.

On my snow, (this may sound newbeeish not sure if its useful at all) if I run audio digitally through USB, it DOES sound very different then if I connect the analog outs directly to my speakers. (however I can't record the analog outs for you to compare yourself)

The analog outs sound much more present, much warmer, much thicker in general. The USB honestly sounds just like a vst, a really expensive Virus vst lol.
Which is another reason I'm considering getting rid of this thing honestly. (end rant before it even starts) I def did not research enough but no biggy, only lost like a $100 I figure.

Hans Zimmer or Jesus Christ himself... that really is just overkill.
