Yep, James Holden is one hell of a producer... probably my favourite producer at the moment.

Anyway, you guys might want to check out his official site:

I love 'One For You' SO much, hah

and I love his interviews too. I totally agree with his views on prog as a genre:

taken from progressive sounds.com

Simon: In what direction do you see progressive house heading? Do you see it heading towards the sometimes dirty, and filtered melodic sound that you have championed? Darker perhaps? Or more upbeat?

James: Up its own arse, most likely. The scene is overrun by muppets, and 95% of the vinyl I get sent goes straight in the 'Vinyl Exchange' pile - too many people seem to think that records without melody are automatically progressive, which is bollocks, as are their tunes. I think things are coming together, I've always played a load of styles at once, and more and more people seem to be doing it. I personally like the techno end of things especially when it draws influence from prog/trance - this is where we're going with Easyaccess - twisted, dubby innovative techno and house from some new producers we've found, which is very exciting.

HAHHAHAHAAAHAHAHAA good on you James for telling it like it is ... he is so right ... this lad is the saviour of prog in my opinion.

He also helped produce Bloodlock on Sasha's new album Airdrawndagger.
The man is a genius.
