GO with whatever feels right for you mate

I had a track released called "Life is Sweet" a couple of months back. The riff goes round twice, the first time it's 12 bars long, and the second phrase is 14 bars long. It's a little weird but i thought it worked well. Others may not! But don't be too put off by what other people are doing. Make sure you're making music you like!

breakdowns are only meant for chillout... dance music shouldn't have enormous breakdowns imo, gets boring if it's any more than 33 bars. even then it's too much i reckon, but i'll allow 33...

here is a hard trance track I did when long builds and 16 bar melodies where the rage in 2002. It even has the scot project snare rolls and shit! The kinda shit jucie heads like Robby Rox would throw down to.
