ok...so i am torn b/w serato with a Rane SL-1, SL-3, or ran sixty eight mixer and Traktor Audio 8 with Traktor Duo software. I am really not able to make up my mind, any input would be great!

You really can't go wrong there. It's personal preference as the interfaces are different with all DVS's. (I use Torq for what it's worth and have been for years now without fail.)
