From what ive seen of reviews, the battles are much softer and almost every fight can be won by spamming attack. Theres no more shops and towns, as you buy everything from save points. Im waiting for the online counterpart in XIV, as I kinda liked XI but lived outside of Toronto with some crappy internet. Anyhow, im gonna skip this one, and wait to see what my buddies say, and probably borrow a copy. Bioware is more my type of RPG company. Btw, Mass Effect 2 is god damn sick crazy good. |
I'd have to say I'm the same but I haven't played many FF games outside of FFVII myself to say. The idea of buying stuff at save pts vs shops seems like kind of a cop out, I'd love the idea more of visiting shops etc...keeps the Rpg type of feel more alive I think.
Bioware is still going eh? Mass Effect 2 is good? Last thing I even played Rpg wise was Baldur's Gate 2 and halfway through files got corrupted lost everything. Grrrr.
