i actually got all excited when we left lee burridge on NYE cause we took a wrong turn and ended up by the courthouse downtown with that steep ass bank/ledge that was in maaad videos I used to have. i got all nostalgic and shit. did you ever skate the brooklyn banks? oh man, you got me all hype now J. sheeiiiiit | .
He's 19 now, but he skated in the world championships when he was 16 and he took 9th place. The divisions were split skill level rather than by age (he competed in the professional division) so he was competing with skaters in there mid-late 20's and stuff.
I never skated the Brooklyn banks when I was into skating, but I skated them a couple years ago with my nephew and his friends.

Shoutout to all the skateboarders.
I was too pussy to do it on pavement so I opted to ride my board on the snow.
your nephew is pretty damn good. Does he do Halfpipe at all? |
Snowboarding rocks
He mostly does street and 1/4 pipes and mini-ramps (6 foot half pipes). He's done full half pipe stuff but mostly just drop in's, not tricks or anything.

Why did he put standard ollies over pavement in this video? |
Oh yeah the 2nd video, that's just a video his friend made of himself and my nephew. His friend was more of a beginner I think and didn't take skating as serious, so I think he was just having some fun and included himself in the video for the fun of it.
