Exactly my sentiments. While I like many got into EDM around 98-99, 2004 was really the height of these types of tracks, pre-farty bass electro and boring minimal.

Side note, I randomly started listening to the 2004 ASOT yearmix (I think it's #182) and it brought back a lot of good memories. I'd forgotten how many good prog trance tracks came out that year. Definitely check it out if you can.
