so far so good for me.
as for the peeps asking for winter to be over, i hear ya. the same went for us last summer when we had about 60 days of 100+ degree heat out of 92 days (june-august). and out of those remaining 32 days, i say 15-18 of them were 95+ degrees, and maybe 3-5 days we actually got rain.

I would muuuuch rather have a hotter-than-usual summer than a shittier-than-usual winter. Even though Chicago winters are usually a bit worse (last winter was a fucking nightmare), they still kill motivation to do anything and make you lazy as hell. Can't wait for May.
As for 2010...not bad so far. Nothing terribly exciting has happened in the past 2 months, but I feel that's going to change. In March, got plans to fly out to Vegas for a 4 days, then directly to Ft. Lauderdale from there for another 3. Should be wild.

yeah chicago winters are definitely getting me down...got back from san francisco today and wow, I really need to be somewhere warm where I'm motivated to do things. and the food/weed just can't compare!

Not bad. Hating this semester, but still doing well. Have managed to maintain motivation...pretty much on autopilot at this point. But yeah things are good as always, nothing really changes too much.

Pretty awesome, really. I can't complain, but I wish I wasn't so busy with school.

Best one yet
I look back at myself in 2009 & laugh at how fucking stupid I was. I'll probably do this every year until I'm 30

overall awesome. socially great. would love more hours at work, and less hours doing this school nonsense. unlike jennypie, i'm absolutely struggling for motivation school-wise. should really step it up.
2010 hasn't been the greatest year so far. Had a kiss on New Year's, but on sober examination, I discovered the guy was really strange. It took me a couple of weeks to brush him off. Then I left my favorite necklace at a guy's place who I was dating off and on. He hasn't returned my texts. Hope I get it back before he moves home to Spain.
Then my nephew was born with Down's Syndrome. He's adorable and wonderful, but it's a big adjustment.
I guess I can't complain. It's way better than my friend who is fighting brain cancer.
(Wow, this post sounds like a complete downer )
