Not at all in my experience.

It effects recording quite badly though.

Dont mean to hijack the thread too much but its kinda related, does it matter what way round a fan is on the back of the case?

I bought a really cheap case when i built my pc and it has a fan in the removable cover which I have no idea if its pushing or pulling air lol, however I had a chassi fan from my old pc which i also screwed into my new case and its spins away, but i think i can mount it either way so it either pushes air from outside in or pulls air from inside out, whats better?

think its supposed to pull air thru the case (from the front grille) and out the back - every fan has an arrow on the side edge indicating air flow direction.
on cases... ive got an Antec, zero problems with it
