Avalon probably has a concert or something going on earlier in the night. It's happened before, but not sure if it's pushed the openining back as late as midnight. Have seen it pushed back to 11 or so before though (think for Tiesto). Maybe they are just making it midnight to be safe.

yeah... they probably have a prior event going on. They will sometimes open up the Honey Room to allow patrons to come in and have a drink. Once all the people are cleared out, they will open up the lobby area while they clear out and set up the main room.

I got mine already. Just not sure what time is best to go to Avalon.

I bought one this morning as well, $1.75 print-at-home "convenience fee" plus the regular svc chg! hopefully it's not like Amsterdam where they charge you to get out of the club as well.

Kinda upset that Avalon is still advertising Digweed thru Wantickets as 10pm-7am. When I originally bought my ticket, that's what it said too. I'm not really into Sander K, but will need to find parking and hang out somewhere before Avalon opens, and hope it's not a clusterf*ck to get in then!

Edit: Wantickets now shows that Avalon's doors open at 12:59, updated from 10pm when I checked on Monday. The flyer in this thread still shows 10-7 though (as of Wed 3/17 2pm).

Only been to Avalon a couple times since Giant moved to Vanguard. It'll be fun to return. And Just like old times too. Opening at 12 on a big night because of a concert. Good times. Get wasted before you get in! See you there guys
