Let's be honest though, if Harper were leading the opposition, and the Liberals had backed down after originally entertaining this idea, I don't think Harper would be bitching that the Liberals didn't care enough about women's rights. He might be bitching that they bothered to waste taxpayer money even discussing the idea, which actually would be a valid complaint, but that's not what the Libs chose to bitch about.

It's not like these feministas really care about the national anthem anyway - if we did change it, they'd just find something else to whine about.
