You Swiss are great people (weed...) but exeptions are there...

Please understand: Swiss dialect sounds like Dutch dialect. In fact, Frisian people have no problem understanding Swiss at all. Me neither.

Writing it down is another thing. I cant do that, I just speak (some) CH-Deutsch but cannot write it.

After many holidays in Central-Schweiz, Graubünden, Zürich etc I picked up most local differences.

One thing: Rhaetoromanic... well, too difficult!


Swiss girls are easy... Well most of them are short (<1.70m) and have brown/black hair. A bit of mixture between Italian looks and German spirit. They seem to like tall blond guys from NL. No problem having fun with them

Strange enough for CH boys it's the other way around: They like NL girls hehe (look how many NL girls live/work in CH because they have a CH boyfriend)

even me dont understand Rhaetoromanic... its not really German, its a mixture of German and Italian with other langugages in it as well, that language could also be called "chuderwäldsch" .

also here in Switzerland there are many dialects like in Germany also, and the funniest is perhaps the Walliser (Brig, Sion, etc) one. You really have to pay attention to understand their dialect, but its really fun and they all seem very nice, at least those who are with me @UniBern.
