i really hope they chanaged out the limiters from 800. not that any dj should be pushing the reds to start with but when they do on the 800 my ears want to cry

agree, but also pushing reds on any mixer would make ones ear cry

i'll wait a year later to grab one, first release always have bugs

yup although the allen & heath def has better limiters in there, i've seen DJ's push that way too much but it wasn't overly distorting like the 800 does

I read that number too but it was the MSRP. Street price will likely be lower (cdj 2000 msrp is 2150 for example), around 2400 would be my guess. Plus if you're buying them all together I'm sure you can talk them down some more from there.
