rule of thumb, you only eat substantial food the first day you land, after that you should expect everything to go to shit (blacking out included), supplement the days after with the south beach diet - fruit smoothies. secondly, you sound like a chump...not feeling good and bailing at a party clearly means you needed some drugs, if the thought of chicks in bikini's didn't muster up the courage to power through then I'd say you're probably gay and like the cock.

Mdtechno - sorry you had a shitty week. but i can only laugh that you didn't have a good time. after reading ALLLLL about your preplanning this, pre-planning that. how you seemed to know everything about miami, yet it was only your first year

i can say i saw this coming. i see it coming for all noobs that plan as much as you.

first year people take note.... plan little. it's good to plan, but you don't know how miami is during WMC, so plan little to get a feel for how that week is. it's def NOT for the weak at heart. i'm sicker than a dog right now. however, i made it to all my parties but one (went to a different party instead)

couldnt agree more, i always seem to get the death cold from hell late in the week, but i power on cuz i know when i get home i can recover properly.
the biggest mistake i see noobs make, and even some seasoned vets is they get there and hit the bottle immediately.
Most of us are coming from colder climates, or at least aren't used to the humidity and how tiring it can be--add that, plus constant sun, plus tons of alcohol, adrenaline and the stress from travel and you just set yourself up for the worst experience of your life. For every 1 shot of alcohol you need 2 bottles of water to even that shit out in your body or you're in for some insane sickness.
I lost 9lbs in 6 days. its crazy...and i was really TRYING to keep feeding myself, carrying granola and protein bars where i could and plenty of fluids. But you get caught up in the excitement and don't realize how many hours go by since you last ate. If anything stick to BEER, at least you're getting some grains/carbs haha.
sucks to be sick on your vacation..especially WMC, but take it as a lesson learned and don't think you're the coolest guy on the planet pounding drinks as soon as you get there.
even sharks get eaten once in awhile...

Sorry to hear that bud I texted you on Wednesday when you were at the DJ Mag pool party and you were definitely texting drunk LOL and I swear I looked for you all over B.E.D that night but just couldn't find you, guess because you left early.

This pic isnt for real is it. That is hillarious- I was boderline overplanning my trip as well- but then again I am a veteran at partying so had no bad nights and for being my first WMC I had a blast and next time will party even harder just cause I know I can .

You live and learn- btw who the hell eats a 6 hour old sandwich - that should be the first NO NO on your life list forget the WMC list.

If all you do is drink you really have to pace yourself- this isnt get drunk music- getting drunk just gets you sloppy and dancing for 5-8 hours means alot of drinking - which then results in poor coordination and just being a mess. Next time be sober and enjoy yourself. Or see your local street pharma. which is really the way to go.

This is exactly why you should do drugs:

1) you'll eat less (less chance of upset stomach)
2) it's cheaper
3) it doesn't give you alcohol poisoning
4) it doesn't give you hangovers, and if u take 5-htp u don't feel down at all
5) it gives u the energy to truck through the rough times
6) it's more fun than alcohol

sounds to me like you just didn't know how to plan your week...lots of alcohol during WMC is just dumb. eating old sandwiches? really? its hard for me to feel sorry for you when you made such obvious mistakes like that...

i had a great fucking time. lost about 15 lbs. got some sun. met a shit ton of cool people. heard a shit load of good music. and have a few dozen stories to tell the chumps from atlanta who didn't want to go out clubbing with me.

I couldn't have said it better myself. I need to try 5 HTP next time im down there- Friday morning I was hurting at the circoloco party and needed to take an hour break on the lounge chairs- but everything started to kick in and I was BACK BAby! lol damn I loved it.
