I know business is business, but I'm not a fan of the VIP booths in the middle of the dancefloor. And I know quite a few ppl are not. Guv is still great but it doesnt seem to have the allure that it once did for me. I don't know maybe I'm just getting older.

Considering Toronto's Basement doesn't even have a website, I'd venture that it's safe to say that's not the club they're referring to at #77. It's located in Beruit, as is Sky Bar at #51.

completely agreed buddy. Neither am I. They don't have the week to week appeal that they had say 5 years ago or longer. However tonight's event at Decadence should be proof enough that the club belongs MUCH higher than the miserly ranking it received.
Stereo is much better placed and totally deserves its ranking. DJ mag should take note and adjust their procedures accordingly. Infact I'd like to see them put together a panel of DJ's maybe like the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and rank their various awards that way?
Big props to Stereo, that after being out of service for such a long time, made it to the top 20!
Congrats to Circus as well, they've been booking some massive names lately.
I still don't know what happened to Guverment, that's a top notch club.
