Shit is easy once you do it the first time.. Lots of shaving cream helps imo..

I use standard Mach 3 blade.. I think it cuts the best, no need for extra blades..

On the top I shave from front to back to the edge of my crown.. then I start at the center back of my neck and shave up.. After each stroke, wash the blade and move toward one ear, then start in the center again and go the other direction to you ear.. then just some cleanup above the ears and sideburns and your set.. I feel my head to see if I missed any spots.. Everyone shaves differently though..

Takes about 10 minutes once you get the hang of it.. but don't rush through it.. I took a huge fucking chunk out of my head a couple years ago.. I don't think ill ever be the same..

BTW.. Headblade sucks imo..

You can use your hand to feel if you've missed any spots quite easy imo.

I've been using this since I've started. I do the whole head about every 3 days. You don't even need a mirror, and I do it in the car if I'm late for work.

Mach3 razor, electrics dont get close enough.

You just wet your scalp and put on a thin layer of shaving cream and go at it. Careful around the back of your ears. Also if you have any bumps on your head (I have one of those like little raised areas, like a reverse pox scar or something) careful with those cause if you are too aggressive you can shave those right off!

Also a mirror you can hold so you can get a view of the back of your head helps to sometimes. Then when you are done just rub against the grain to feel any rough areas and shave those.

Apply liberal amounts of lotion and be done. Don't wait too long to do it again though. Having hair thats too short to cut down with trimmers and too long to comfortably shave sucks!

Matter of opinion, but yes blades do shave closer than most electrics. Cheap ones will give you cheap results.

Electrics won't bother any bumps or growths on your head, and the floating heads on a rotary one makes it very comfortable, and mess-free.

Ya. I just like the feel of a razor better I think. Plus I have a beard and I CBA to get a beard trimming electric, so a razor is like a fine little sculpting tool.
