But I hear it's not that bad of a drive from Allentown to NYC...

I'd recommend doing what I do and trek up to the city. That's where the best trance on the East Coast is.

Hahahahahaha, Did we meet the same person.

That was the response I got all the time, except sometimes it wasn't Everytime we touch, it was satisfaction.

Well there are few people who will know some of the newer stuff, but not many. I know I brainwashed my cousins into liking edm, but they still can't understand tracks that don't have vocals.

I think when you get to the point of liking tracks that don't have vocal, your pretty much and edm fan, it's just something I noticed with the non hardcore fans. They will get there someday

BAH here's an Allentown story...

A few years ago on Memorial Day Weekend there was some rave I wanted to goto in Allentown. I had some friends camping somewhere in PA (closer to Allentown than home was) so I stayed with them for the weekend and on Saturday night headed out to the rave. That day everyone got hammered and cancelled on me, so I went on my own to meet up with friends there. So I get a little lost on the way and arrive late. Sometime around 1:00 am, I find what I was looking for and get the party started. Well I didn't know it ended at 2:00. So I head out, back to the campground like an hour away. Mind you I start at this point. Now I'm driving the Altima I had at the time with a coffee can exhaust, chrome rims, tints, neons, rice-rocketed out to the fullest. So I'm driving for about 45 minutes in the middle of no where. I finally find this backwoods ass gas station, pull up with trance blasting (had subwoofers and shit), get out of the car, and head into the store. A few people in there just get SILENT and stare at me like I'm some kind of freak. At this point I realize I'm out of my skull, wearing bright red UFO's, plastic fucking beads, visor, the works. Yeah if you didn't know already I was the occasional candy raver. After finally deciding that I'm from Earth, the hillbillies pull theirs jaws closed, shake off the immensely akward stares, and point out the fact that I've been driving about 45 minutes in the wrong direction. About 3 hours and a pack of cigarettes later I arrive back at the campsite, finally get in bed, almost fall asleep, only to have the rest of the crew (adults and all) start waking up to start the day blasting some God-awful country/rock music which was probably close to the last thing in the world I'd want to tolerate at that point.

All that for about two hours of partying haha. Fucking Allentown.
