NO you are not good.. first at all, a DJ doesn't mix a set with a computer....

So, for me sucks this mix...

Learn to mix with your own brain and hands..

Tsss. Okay, so you think it's a bad mix because of it's done with a computer??
Probably you haven't listened to it at all because you saw it was done with atomixmp3

Do you know that there are well known DJ's who had been on stage with a single laptop??

Not a shabby mix. I wasnt to fond of the first track of the mix.. i think because it was a little to str8 beat.. with lack of rythum. But everything after that sounded pretty tight.

whats up with DJoA? apparrently he hasnt seen any djs lately. Most mix with just cds. Hows that any different than using a computer? Yes i do think its a form of .. for the lack of better words.. cheating.. because nothing beats turntables. But I dont think that just because you used a computer your mix "sucks" . I bet if you hadnt have said what you used to mix this set he would have liked it like the rest of us. But ingorance stood in his way. sucks to be him.

Keep up the good work!!!

Atomix mp3 is too easy to use... ;(

Try something like VTT or something else, with atomix you only got to click on the magic hand and WOW it's beatmatched

Anyway good choice of tracks

PS: I never saw dj @ clubs mixing with only a laptop... or maybe only to use final scratch...

You don't understand why the other guy didn't like your mixing at all. Atomix has a beatmatch-feature, easy to use, I know, but it isn't the way to learn 'real' mixing.
Beatmatching is the basic of real flawless (do I say it right? ) mixing.

I hope you understand that.

Nevertheless, I'll download your mix later, and I will take a listen )

I understand yes!

But hey, isnt the most important thing about mixing the timing of when you choose the next track to be played? (And ofcourse wich tracks you choose)

I didn't use any headphones to listen to the next track in advance, and I didn't use a mixer either. So it simply isn't fair for such a guy to say it like that (Like: "learn to use your brain and own hands" well, I sure used them allright!!!)

Its a nice mix men.

Sometimes mixing on a pc is harder to do when with turntables. If a record goes out of the beat you can fix it by pressing a bit with your finger on TT to slow it down a litle bit for example. If you have to press keys you do not have the fealing that you have with turntables.

The automatic beatmaching sounds like magic but it is not. Sometimes it fucks up big time I tried it with traktor and the auto beatmatching Is not that good so you still have to beatmatch your self.

The most inportent skill in mixen is beatmatching I think.

Traktor is harder to use than Atomix... I tried both, and Atomix is finally way too easy (sorry to say that Junis...)
With this appz 95% of beatmatch are ok, and if it goes off beat, you just have to click again to get them back

(Atomix 1.x was in fact better in beatmatching than 2.x)

But I didn't say that your mix wasn't good

That's all what matters to me. I think when I got 2 turntables & a mixer, it wouldn't be so hard for me to learn the beatmatching.

"it wouldnt be so hard"????WHOA now i dont know about all that. Beatmatching is the reason why alot of inspiring djs give up. Its the hardest thing to master.. and could take yrs to learn how to do it properly.. to finally be considered a "dj". When i first got my tables i thought piece of cake.. was i totally wrong. I have had my tables for about 5 months now and i am still learning how to do it properly. Computer generated mixing isnt close to the actual real thing. So keep that in mind.

I just tried the demo of atomix and its a lot more easy then traktor. The beat matching is a lot better. almost to easy.

It does not matter how you make your mix al long as you enjoy making it.

Yes beatmatcing on TT's is hard to learn but what you can learn on a pc is what sounds good togeter musicaly and thats also inportent.
