heheh nope my avatar was all hand draw with an extremely fine black pen, its a wasnt really intended on looking like a scorpion tail thingy, just a patterned 'C' thing, with a bit coming down at the top, so it is a 'C' and then scanned and added some like wind effects in photoshop
