Should be very interesting to say the least. Have always like Timo's productions as well as Santos. His mixed comps have been hit or miss...but it has been a long time since he has put one out, and the music has changed quite a bit since then.

Does Timo still play vinyl live in his sets? I remember an interview from just 2 years ago where he said he still plays a lot of records. Would be nice if he does the mix live like Lee did with this.

after the first listen i would say its solid, but nowhere near the best balance cds!

the compilation starts very promising with some deep techy stuff, but then after 10 minutes the mood completely changes to housey music! and this in short is the biggest problem of this disc in my oppinion! the mixing is technically solid (still quite boring most of the time), but the genre changes are just to fast! the mix seemed like timo had his 20 favourite tracks and wanted to squeeze them in, no matter what genre they are! disc 1 has its moments though! i really liked the last third of cd1!

the concept of cd2 is much better - he leaves out the house here (besides one track) and mixes some nice techy stuff! great flow on this disc, not really standout tracks but it all works! that placebo track in the end is really out of place though and doesn't work!

have to say that that the compilation all in all is not the style of music i prefer to listen to and spin, so probably if you are a big big fan of classical house chords and tech house stuff you will rate it higher!

so my score after one listen
