If you ever do BBQ Pork and have a lot of leftovers, those cookers are great for reheating pulled pork for sandwiches. I've got a great Ham and Lentil Soup recipe but it involves pre-sauteing some of the ingredients but a slow-cooker would do it some proper justice. There's also a similarly prepared Beef Stew I think you'll like.
