Serious answer: don't go with meds alone. See a therapist and get some cognitive behaviour therapy as well...especially if you have obsessive thought processes.

Been in and out of that stuff since I was about 7 or 8, just never tried any meds.

I definitely wouldn't be on meds alone.

Well go for it then. Just know that it may take a while to find the right medication for you.

And I'd also like to say that, while this thread might seem like a joke or that I'm making fun of people with mental health issues/people who take meds, I don't think it's anything to be ashamed of - and I actually really have a problem with the way mental health/illness is misunderstood and stigmatized.
